  1. Request for Tutors :

 

  1. Payment Matters:
  1. Place of Lesson:
    • The assigned tutor will teach at the residence of the customer by default unless otherwise indicated by you and you are to provide a reasonable environment for the conduct of lessons.
  2. Tuition Rates:
    • Refer to Tuition Rates
    • Rates are obtained based on the tutors' qualifications and relevant experience & are non-negotiable for the first month.
  3. First Lesson Preparation:
    • You are required to make arrangements with your tutor with regards to teaching resources. Please state your expectations and requirements clearly.
  4. First Day of Lesson:
    • Tutors are instructed to bring their qualifications certificates on the first lesson and are encouraged to show the certificates to the clients.
    • You are required to check the credentials and certificates of the tutor on the first lesson. It is your responsibility to ensure that the tutor's credentials and qualifications are satisfactory.
  5. Service Provided:
    • Inspired Tuition Agency does not guarantee improvements in the tutee's grades as many factors are involved in teaching and learning that are beyond our control.
    • Inspired Tuition Agency will work towards the improvement of your child by matching and providing the most suitable tutor according to your requirements that you provide us with.
    • Inspired Tuition Agency will remind both the tutor and client about the commencement of the tuition one day before the first lesson.
  6. First Lesson Review
    • After the first lesson, we will call the client (parent or student) to feedback on how the lesson went. If it went smoothly, we will proceed with billing.
  7. Replacement of Tutor:
    •  If you have found the tutor to be unsuitable for any reason, we will assist you in making a swap. We will collect the tuition fee for completed lessons and reimburse the tutor.
    • There is no administrative fee for Replacement of tutors.

  1. Register as a Tutor:
  1. Place of Lesson:
    • By default, lessons would be conducted at the student’s home. However, should there be any arrangement for an alternative venue, you will be notified.
  2. First Lesson Preparation:
    • You are required to make arrangements with your client with regards to teaching resources. Discuss clearly with the parents about their expectations and requirements. However, please bring along as much materials as you think would suffice for the first lesson.

 

  1. First Day of  Lesson:
  •  For the first lesson, you are strongly advised to head out early to the venue, especially if you are unfamiliar with the location and how the traffic condition would be like.
  • You are required to produce original copies of all necessary academic and professional certifications, documentations and identification (e.g. NRIC or Passport) on your first lesson for verification by the client

 

  1. First Month’s Tuition Fee
    • Once you have accepted a tuition assignment, whether verbally or in writing, you are not allowed to re-negotiate the rates that have been agreed upon
    • Tutors are charged a one-time agency commission fee of 50% of the first month’s tuition fee.
    • By default, tutors are not allowed to collect the agency commission on behalf of the agency.
    • Tutors will collect the full payment from the clients after the 1st month onwards.
    • Tutors who have decided to terminate the assignment before the 1st month will not receive any payment for the lessons (incude terms listed in the blacklisted tutor below).
    • The client reserves the right to cancel or withdraw his/her tuition requests or assignment at any time.
  2. Areas where conducts are monitored and resulted in Tutor being blacklisted:
    • Punctuality. If complaints on being late frequently and leaving before the lesson is completed are received
    • Responsibility. Tutors who stopped tuition without informing the customer through the phone or in person will have their account closed. SMS or emails are not considered as a means for informing the customer.
    • Professionalism. Tutors have to concentrate on the lesson at hand. Kindly keep your mobile phone on silent mode for the duration of the lesson.
    • Dressing. Tutors should dress appropriately for the lesson. Customer has the right to reject a tutor based on their dressing.
    • Any attempt to skip payment of the commission; failure to pay for the commission or unreasonable demands will result in the termination of your tutor account and you will be barred from future registration.
    • Any submission of false or inaccurate information - whether intentional or otherwise - which may mislead clients and Inspired Tuition Agency, will not be tolerated.
