iQ VS eQ student

IQ (Intelligence Quotient) defines how smart you are, EQ (Emotional Quotient) defines how well you use what smarts you have.

IQ gets you through school, EQ gets you through life.

Truth is you aren’t going to get very far with building your career success and relationships around you, if you are grumbling and complaining all the time. People like to be with people that make them feel good and, no one enjoys being with a whiner. Research shows that it is a person’s communication skills that get them to the top and keeps them there. Your EQ has more to do with your success and happiness in life than your IQ. The good news is Emotional Intelligence can be learned!  a FAMOUS quote ” IQ gets you hired, EQ gets you promoted.”

Note: Appealing to emotions to convince someone rather than using facts alone. Secondly using your emotions in addition to your cognitive how and why vs Knowing what. The thing is knowing how to motivate separate individuals as opposed to treating everyone the same way. Lastly understanding and controlling your emotions to use them for something vs letting your emotion control you because you do not know how to deal with them.
